Smart Giving

Invest In Eternity

It is now possible and convenient to give online (either one time or automatically) using this website. Once again, consider gathering together as a family to dedicate what you give in prayer, asking God to accomplish spiritual results – especially that many would come to faith in Jesus Christ.

What Is tithing?

“Tithe” means ten percent of your income. Tithe is not a debt we owe; it is a seed we sow! Jesus said, “Behold a sower went out to sow…the seed fell on good ground and brought forth fruit” (Matthew 13:3-8). The Bible says that whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap.

Leviticus 27:30, “All the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or the fruit of the tree, is the Lord’s.” If you give to the Lord, you should be expecting a gain! “Give and it shall be given unto you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over” (Luke 6:38).

Every time God gives you an opportunity to give, He is also giving you an opportunity to increase your income. Malachi 3:10, “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse.” It is important that you give your tithe to the place that feeds you spiritually. When you plant your seed in the Lord’s house, God will multiply it supernaturally beyond your wildest dreams. Our giving should be done cheerfully to glorify and worship God by serving His people – our brothers and sisters. We plant by reaching out to others and then reap as God reaches out to us. God said to Abraham, “I will bless you and you shall be a blessing.”

By choosing to tithe to Honeywell Worship Center, you are blessing and making an eternal difference in the lives of so many!

Give Your Tithe

The Offering

What is the difference between tithe and offering? Tithe is giving a tenth of your earnings back to the work of God. An offering, or generous giving, is over and above tithe. Offerings are something that you search your heart and decide to give beyond the tithe, but not in place of the tithe.

Discover the joy and the blessing of generous giving above and beyond what is required. See God as your supplier. Do not give according to what you have, but according to what God can supply. Know that the earth is going to pass away, know the true value of a soul and invest wisely in the Kingdom of God.

Remember it is the Lord who gives you the power to get wealth. It is God’s will for you to be blessed and prosperous. Give and it shall be given unto you. Proverbs 22:9, “He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed, for he giveth of his bread to the poor.”

Romans 8:17 declares, “And if children, then heirs; heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ.” When God is your father, all His wealth belongs to you. He has promised to take care of His children. All that He has is yours, and all that you have is His. God has given you His very best, will you give Him yours?

What Is The First Fruit Offering?

First Fruits offering is a free will offering, separate from and in addition to your tithe. In the Old Testament this was the offering that God required be given to Him from the earliest ripening produce (the first fruit) of any grain or fruit harvest. He also required the first male born of the womb, whether human or livestock, to be dedicated to Him. The first fruit was given before the entire harvest was taken as a deposit or down payment guaranteeing God’s blessing upon the rest of the harvest.

“For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches” (Romans 11:16 NKJV). The first represents the total.

All firsts belong to God! — “Honor the LORD with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow!” (Proverbs 3:9 – 10 NKJV).

What you do with your “first” in the opening days, weeks, and month of 2017 will greatly determine your entire year!
